Break the Habit is haunted by jazz, the sound and echo of it, the engagement with grief and loss, the movement of language that captures loneliness and love and relationships severed by death or divorce.
Public House maps the delirious landscapes of addiction. In poem after poem, Dylan Weir chronicles the mix of memory and mythology concocted between last call and first light.
Winner of the APALA (Asian Pacific American Librarians Association) Inaugural Pasifika Poetry Award, Kalehua Kim, with her award-winning poetry collection, Mele.
“Mele”, or a Hawaiian song or chant traditionally used to preserve history through the oral tradition, is the embodiment of its title. Kim’s debut collection evokes modes of language and culture that shape the contours of memory and expose the fault lines of family and self, as well as the grace and generosity of healing, acknowledgement, and commemoration.

Dear Dear renders queer love through the lens of music, art, nature, and politics. Drawing on artists from Bach to Mitski, Gelley Newman flirts with nostalgia but refuses to dwell in the past, asking how remembering our ancestors can reinvigorate our present struggles.
